O que importa são as pessoas

As minhas 3 semanas em Montañita só foram realmente especiais pelas pessoas que conheci. A começar pela Maria e o Oscar, os donos do hostel que eu trabalhei de voluntária. Eles me acolheram da melhor forma, com conversas maravilhosas e muita risada. Foi um tempo de trabalhar se divertindo e eu nem sei como agradecer a oportunidade.

Por coincidência, no mesmo período que cheguei, estavam aí também duas pessoas que se tornaram grandes amigos: o Tim e o Dominik.

Tim é um jovem senhor, que anda viajando pelo mundo faz muito tempo. Com suas histórias intermináveis de viagens, aventuras e muita coisa fantástica, é impossível não ficar vidrado quando ele começa a dizer “uma vez estava em não sei aonde...”. Dominik é da Suíça e também fez toda a diferença. Nós três passamos 3 semanas em Montañita, entre praia, drinks e cervejinhas, bons papos ou simplesmente uma curtida de rede em silêncio.

Faz alguns anos que escolhi essa vida de viajante. Hoje posso dizer que meu maior aprendizado foi que o que importa são as pessoas que vão cruzar o seu caminho. Os lugares sempre estarão aí. Os amigos da estrada, esses sim darão o brilho.

It’s all about people

My three weeks in Montañita were really special just because of the people I met. Starting with Maria and Oscar, the owners of the hostel I worked. They welcomed me in the best way, with wonderful conversation and lots of laugh. It was a time to work having fun and I do not know how to thank for the opportunity.

Coincidentally, at the same time I arrived, there were also two people who became great friends: Tim and Dominik. Tim is a young soul man who is traveling the world for a long time now. With his endless travel stories, adventures and a lot of fantastic things, it is impossible not to be captivated when he starts saying "once in some place in the world ...". Dominik is from Switzerland and also made all the difference. The three of us spent 3 weeks in Montañita, among beach, drinks and beers, good conversations or just a hammock time in silence.

A few years ago I chose this traveling life. Today I can say that my biggest learning was that what matters are the people who will cross your path. The places will always be there. The friends of the road, they are going to shine your way.
