Ainda no sábado em
Cartagena, saímos no grupo de brasileiros para consumir a cerveja mais barata
da região na Plaza de La Santísima Trinidad e aproveitar para ver um espetáculo
de rua muito divertido.
Mais tarde seguimos para o famoso Hostel Media Luna,
que geralmente tem festa e ficamos lá por um tempo. Esse hostel fica em
Getsemani e dizem que a melhor festa acontece na quarta-feira. Não demoramos
muito e voltamos para o albergue.
No dia seguinte decidimos
alugar bicicleta para dar uma volta. Como Cartagena é muito quente, e não
demora muito para rodar dentro da cidade amuralhada, combinamos por uma hora.
Alguns lugares cobram 4, outros 5 mil pesos. Para alugar é preciso somente
deixar um documento qualquer e preencher um pequeno formulário.
O passeio foi muito
bom. Rodamos toda a muralha, subimos em algumas partes, tiramos muitas fotos e
paramos para comer frutas (sempre frescas, saborosas e baratas). Em uma hora
devolvemos as bicicletas e já nos preparávamos para despedir dessa cidade tão
charmosa. Voltar lá nunca é um sacrifício!
On Saturday
we left with the Brazilian group to consume the cheapest beer in the region at
Plaza de la Santísima Trinidad and enjoy a street theatre/ presentation very
funny. There is a famous hostel where you can a find nice parties, called Media
Luna. People say on Wednesdays are the best parties. My friends and I went on
Saturday over there, after the Plaza La Trinidad and it was cool, but not a
long night.
In the next
day our group decided to go rent bikes and go around the city. Cartagena is a
really hot place and to turn all the wall doesn’t take too much, so the renting
was for one hour. Some places charges 4,000 COP, other 5,000 COP/hour. To rent the bicycle you must just leave a
document with them and fill a form.
The tour
was very cool. Turning and going up the wall, taking lots of pictures and stopping
to eat fruits (always fresh, tasteful and cheap). In one hour, the bikes were
back and we were ready to say bye to this charming city. Go back to Cartagena
is never a sacrifice!
