Pertinho de Montañita, no Equador, existe um parque natural
muito bonito e de fácil acesso. O Parque Nacional de Machalilla, fica em Puerto
Lopez, ao norte de Montañita. Para chegar lá é possível pegar um ônibus que
demora cerca de 1 hora e custa 3 dolares.
No parque não vende comida, e tem outras regras como não
poder fumar. Só vendem artesanatos, bebidas frias e sorvete. Por isso levamos
nossa marmita para passar a tarde lá. Como não tem muito que conhecer depois
que se alcança a praia principal, uma tarde ou uma manhã é suficiente para
conhecer o lugar.

Montanita, Ecuador, there is a beautiful natural park and easily accessible.
The Machalilla National Park is situated in Puerto Lopez, north of Montañita.
To get there you can take a bus that takes about 1 hour and costs US$3.
In the park
does not sell food, and has other rules like you are not able to smoke. They only
sell handicrafts, cold drinks and ice cream. So we brought our lunch before to
spend the afternoon there. As it has not much to know after you reach the main
beach, an afternoon or morning it is enough to know the place.

No parque é preciso fazer uma trilha para chegar na praia
principal, que se chama Los Frailes. Também existe a opção de ir em riquixá,
tipo os indianos mesmo, e custa 1 dolar por pessoa. Nos optamos por caminhar,
porque assim era possível passar por outras praias e ter uma vista linda do
mirador que fica no começo de Los
Frailes.
No parque não vende comida, e tem outras regras como não

The Machalilla National Park is situated in Puerto Lopez, north of Montañita.
To get there you can take a bus that takes about 1 hour and costs US$3.
In the park
you need to make a trail to reach the main beach, called Los Frailes. There is
also the option of going in a rickshaw, like the Indians, and costs US$1 per
person. We chose to walk, because then we could go through other beaches and have
a beautiful view of the viewpoint that is at beginning of Los Frailes.
