Medellín, a cidade iluminada

[English version below]

Fiz muitos amigos, pude passear, me divertir.

Naquele dia, o mirador de Las Palmas me “brindou” a melhor vista.

Medellin the illuminated city

After almost a year in Colombia, it was time to say goodbye. I would have no way to thank all that this country has given me since I set the foot there for the first time. First I made a wonderful trip with my cousin. I lived in Cali with a beautiful family that welcomed me. I got a job in Medellin and I moved there without knowing anyone. I made many friends, I could walk around, have fun. I also had very difficult moments that made me grow and be better person.
To leave is never easy and this time was the same. It's that feeling of doing the right thing, but at the same time to leave a lot of people that we love. The moments of Colombia will never come back, but to go opened the doors to experience new things and meet new people. My tattoo, done a few hours before my flight, was a way to always remember that we need to thank for everything. This country taught me a lot about gratitude.

On that day, the viewpoint of Las Palmas gave me the best view. With the best friends I could have had, I could appreciate Medellin for a few minutes before leaving, as if the heaven was sending a message that Medellin is an illuminated city.
